Above are the Mood-Boards for Western Digital’s new WDTV Device Promo. We were asked to do a 30 second Promo piece. I was to come up with all creative, designs, dynamics, and animation. I have about three weeks to get this project done by myself. So far I have cleaned up all OBJ import from 3ds MAX to Cinema 4D. Set up the Thinking Particle system with Expresso. This project I am planning on combining real 3D with Trapcode Particular. So far, I am on schedule!
Above is our company’s Facebook iFrame application and layout.We decided to set the piece in an overall fantasy camp ground theme. The grass and slogan are done in Cinema 4D, I haven’t touch fur/hair in a while, and the texturing took some time, but the result came out quite well.
Above is a quick turn around comp for Toyota Corolla. It’s really hard to explain our vision of functionality through words, while making an anamatic is out of the question. I personality believe more comp is needed to support our intense vision, and this comp is just a draft example of mood and feel and I can continue refine more usability of the site after that is locked in. but…
Above are works in progress for Toyota Corolla, just some simple ideas in my head that relates to the color, mood, and feel of the site. Personally, I like the second one more, because the composition gave depth and everything feels like one piece.
